Have you been struggling for a long time with morbid obesity (adiposity), along with the resulting health consequences and social disadvantages? I would be pleased to welcome you to my private practice, where I have specialized since 1996 in bariatric (adipose tissue) surgery and performed more than 3,000 operations.
Each human being is important to us. Taking a personalized and individual approach is something particularly close to my heart.
With my new patients I take the time to analyze their difficulties in a relaxed atmosphere, discuss them in detail and together develop an individual plan for treatment.
We always strive to avoid patients having to wait or to keep such waits as short as possible. Therefore, appointments should be made over the telephone when problems arise, with a request to cancel an appointment at least 24 hours in advance if it cannot be kept.
There is always extra time available to cover absolutely urgent cases. Detailed information about my office hours and the location of the office can be found at Contact.
Since 2004, I have served as the head of the Obesity Clinic at the Surgical Department of the Medical University of Vienna (Universitätsklinik Wien), an internationally recognized center for the treatment of morbid obesity. I perform the full range of bariatric surgical procedures, ranging from intragastric balloons, laparoscopic-adjustable gastric banding and sleeve gastrectomies to Y-en-Roux gastric bypasses, Omega Loop gastric bypasses (anastomotic bypass) and biliopancreatic diversions with and without a duodenal switch.
In addition, I perform surgical procedures involving the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, also known as endocrine surgery. Once again, I use minimally invasive surgical techniques to achieve cosmetically excellent results.
When treating my patients, I can count on a strong interdisciplinary network of leading experts from various fields, as well as on a detailed examination of my patients.
I look forward to welcoming you to my practice!
